I've spent my time studying human nutrition for years, trying to find the reason why some people gain weight and others do not, trying to find a way to lose it and become healthy without counting calories or eating lean chicken breast and salad leaves without dressing. There had to be a way to enjoy food and still stay slim, healthy, fit and free from modern diseases without too much effort and without doing crazy hours of strenuous exercise daily. Ok don't get me wrong, exercise is enjoyable and good for general health and wellbeing, but I wanted to have a slim body even WITHOUT exercising like a crazy person. I’ve become a Physiotherapist and have learned during my studies how the body functions, how it processes the macronutrients (Carbs, Proteins and Fats) that we eat and what it does with the micronutrients (Vitamins and Minerals). But still even then, applying this knowledge to the food choices was a different story. There was too much other 'noise', there were too many different recommendations from very authoritative sources such as the WHO or the local doctor office. I myself got very confused, but all this general nutrition advice never made much sense to me so I started to try and find out what really works and is healthful for myself- I’ve dug up the weeds of PubMed and read scientific journals. I’ve searched and researched for the truth… and found it. How to lose weight almost effortlessly, keep it off and gain better health and wellbeing in the process: Now, I am using this knowledge and experience to help others.
